Works with the Nikon D700, here’s how!

How I got it to work quickly with the Nikon D700.

First off, this software DOES NOT save the photos you take while tethered to the CF card! It saves all photos straight to a folder you designate onto your desktop or where ever. Keep that in mind.

When I first tried to use this software with the D700 it wouldn’t recognize the camera… or so I thought. What was really happening is it was reading the CF card! So if you have a lot of photos on your card, it will take a long time before the software recognizes the camera and lets you use it.

The solution: Turn off the D700, take out the CF card, turn it back on... and boom, it should work almost instantly! Because the photos are saved directly to the computer, you don’t need the CF card in the camera. If you REALLY want it in there, remove all your photos and it should read and recognize it faster.
